The » short-distance festival mile «
The distinctiveness and singularity of Bad Elster is evident through the seven historical venues, all surrounded by parks. For centuries, guests of the Royal Kurhaus have walked along the “short-distance festival mile,” located at the historical centre of the town, to the famous King Albert Theatre, or have taken relaxing strolls to the KunstWandelhalle with the Sächsischen Bademuseum, past the bandstands to walk into the Waldpark, to the oldest and most beautifully-situated NatureTheatre in Saxony.
Neighbouring Bad Brambach with its festival hall beautifully situated near a lake, also has a historical ensemble, which captures the particular flair of »Chursächsische« events perfectly.
