13th Chursächsische Winter Dreams | »A festival for all senses...«
November 29, 2013 until January 26, 2014
When the year is coming to an end, the anticipation makes the hearts of all flutter and reflective moments sneak into the hectic of our times - that is when the Chursächsiche Winter Dreams begin as a "a festival for all senses" in the Saxon State Spa of Bad Elster and the neighbouring Bad Brambach.
This "scrumptious" cultural festival celebrates its 13th anniversary this year under the patronage of District Administrator, Dr. Tassilo Lenk (District of Vogtland): from November 29 to January 26, the flair of the fourth season of the year will be captured and highlighted through various cultural genres in order to pamper the audience with cultural and rejuvenating arrangements in Saxon's state spa.

»Christmas Oratorium« - The Chursächsische Philharmonic played on historical instruments from the Baroque period. Conducted by GMD Florian Merz and together with solo singers Jana Reiner (soprano), Rahel Haar (alto), Tobias Hunger (tenor), Sebastian Richter (bass) and the Leipzig Vocal Ensemble, produced by UMD Philipp Amelung in the St. Trinitatis Church Bad Elster.
