4. Chursächsische Spring Magics
Cultural Spring Feelings in the Royal Grounds of Bad Elster
March 14 - April 27, 2025
“Freed from the ice are brook and stream, by Spring’s sweet and gentle gaze; in the valley, hope’s green fortune glows...” – with these world-famous opening lines, Goethe’s Easter Walk begins as a timeless ode to renewal. The cultural and festival town of Bad Elster now brings this very “hope’s green fortune in the Elster Valley” to life at the start of the season, presenting the Chursächsian Spring Enchantment amidst a harmonious world of nature, culture, and well-being in the Royal Grounds of the Saxon State Spa.
The 4th Chursächsian Spring Enchantment will take place from March 14 to April 27, 2025, offering a rich variety of cultural and theatrical highlights along the “festival boulevard of short distances.” From Royal Easter celebrations and a creative ArtFest to diverse, spring-themed wellness and travel experiences, this seasonal program invites guests to fully enjoy Bad Elster’s gentle awakening.
Whether you drift away in the Saltwater Spa and Sauna World, relax with wellness classics in the historic Albert Bath, or recharge body and mind amidst blooming parks and scenic hiking paths – spring in Bad Elster is a celebration of renewal and inspiration. “All great and small rejoice with zest: Here I am human – here I may rest.”
